Justice League was one of the most awaited films of 2017. I was in Chennai when the movie released. Its trailer was ingrained in my mind, that I decided to watch the film there and then. You know nothing can stop a movie buff!
Well, first and foremost the crowd made every scene worth watching. Oh! I cannot forget all the hooting and claps. It was indeed fun delving into a great cinema with an equally indulgent crowd.
The cast was flawless.
Batman (Ben Affleck) was in total swag and was the one who wanted to get the team together after sensing an impending threat. Gal Gadot (Diana Prince) was at her absolute best. Superman (Henry Cavill) was reincarnated and showcased the transition in pure perfection. His complicated relationship with Batman was portrayed in a nail-biting sequence and the way he rendered every other superhero helpless – made me speechless. And that dialogue – “Tell me, do you bleed?” The entire audience enjoyed that epic scene to the fullest, and it was totally – Paisa wasool!
The Flash (Ezra Miller) was charming and got humor on the move. Aquaman (Jason Momoa) reminded me of Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, and his blue eyes were breathtaking. Cyborg (Ray Fisher) stole the show with his mystical powers.
All the characters were opposite, and Batman wanted to bring them all together to fight Ciaran Hinds (Steppenwolf). Steppenwolf was the ultimate power breeder and a villain who could never be handled by one superhero alone.
Arthur Curry: Strong men are strongest alone, have you ever heard that?
Bruce Wayne: That’s not the same. That’s the opposite of what the saying is.
In the movie Batman was the manager, Steppenwolf was a challenge, or you can say a client and rest was the team with multiple personalities and each member with a power of his own. Batman brought the team together and knew that it was essential to revive Superman too. He was aware of each one’s potential and decided to the risk. The entire team got together and gradually crossed all the hurdles only to defeat the villain, i.e., Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons.
When are you watching it?
